Hello readers!
It's me again to share today's new and updated facts about the technology around you, which you should be aware of.
But before I start that, there will be lots of questions that I want that you should share with me or others because by sharing knowledge and experience, we always gain. So please comment, mention your thoughts, and follow also. The last thing is to share with your tech-savvy group of friends or relatives.
So let's start the blogging with more zeal and interest because these news items are the top picks among the many.
1. Google's messaging app
Entire enterprise, from official to social Google's apps and systems have become indispensable in our lives. What would our lives be like if Android had not yet been released? What are your thoughts? Can you live without Android or Google interfacial? If not, which Google app has been the most useful to you so far?
Today, our lives are made so much easier by Android and YouTube. If you need to prepare a new dish, YouTube has a wealth of experience to back it up, and if you are new to a town, Google Maps can give you a tour. I just want to say that there is nothing that Google can't do. Yes, we can live without Google, but if we use it, it's a much easier way to go.
According to 9to5Google, the technology business finished the rollout of group chat end-to-end encryption for Open Beta users in a month. This feature will safeguard group conversations on the messaging app by encrypting them so that they are secure and private and can only be seen by the receiver and the sender.
According to the article, the capability will be made accessible to additional people for testing reasons soon. It also implies that group chats will include a "This chat is now end-to-end encrypted" banner and that the transmit button will be replaced with a lock icon.
2. Google has discontinued its cloud gaming service.
So, do you know about cloud gaming? If so, which game do you play the most? I believe the majority of readers will say "no," as I haven't played any cloud gaming, but with 5G service, I believe this gaming will undergo a revolution.
On one side, Google is making advance updates to their software or hardware and working on many technologies, but it's very hard to hear that Google will shut down its cloud gaming software, and there is only one major reason for shutting down any programme: it doesn't work as per expectations.
Google has officially announced that its cloud gaming service, Google Stadia, will be discontinued on January 18, 2023. This is because the services did not gain the momentum with users that the technology giant anticipated.
According to reports, the American technology corporation is refunding Stadia hardware purchased through the Google Shop, as well as games and add-on material purchased from the Stadia store.
3. A Milky Way-like galaxy is discovered.
Do you believe in a parallel universe? If yes, what do you think of the Marvels movie idea? Consider what would happen if there was a universe like ours with life and they named their planet blue, or orange, as they preferred.
Are you interested in cosmology? I'm fascinated by what we're learning because we need to know a lot of things to understand inequality and its patterns in the universe. One of my friends and I were having a regular time of college life, and after we were high, we were talking about cosmology, and he said, "Jupiter is the next Sun," and we had a lot of fun with that line, but in reality, both are made up of gas, so they are somewhat simillar.
So, in order to understand a small part of the universe, you must first understand cosmology, which raises many questions such as why, when, and how.
New photos from NASA's James Webb Telescope show galaxies with star bars going back to when the cosmos was only a quarter of its current age. Stellar bars are elongated structures of stars that extend from galaxies' centres towards the outer disc.
Finding such barred galaxies, similar to our Milky Way, will require astrophysicists to revise their views of galactic development, according to the University of Texas at Austin. No space observatory had identified bars at such an early period of the universe's life until Webb's photographs and if you want to see the photos of that galaxy, then please click here.
If you have previously visited my blog, you should be aware that I provided a report on the new Webbs telescope, which has the most expensive and longest view yet. If you haven't read that blog, go to the homepage and search for "Webbs telescope" to learn more about it.
4. Are smelling and touching virtually possible?
In CES 2023, we saw lots of amazing gadgets, and I also shared some of them here that I found that you should be aware of on a general basis. But what if I told you that you could virtually smell and touch things?
"No way," you'll say, and as a techie guy, you'll want to know the principle behind it; I don't, either, but at CES 2023, the metaverse company revealed an ultimate project that will define a new generation of devices.
Whereas the metaverse has shown a project that will be a type of three-dimensional virtual community that can be used officially or socially, it is just an advanced step in video calling like we used to do in Teams or WhatsApp. People can virtually get together, meet, play, or work together in this setting.
However, HTC has revealed that a high-end VR headset will allow users to feel and smell in a virtual environment, raising the bar even higher.
So if you get this device, what will you do with it? And are you excited about this? I always look forward to the CES because they always have great products that will keep your eyes open for a while.
5. All iPhone 15 models will include a dynamic island.
Almost every company in this race was moving toward a punch-hole camera, a camera inside the screen, or a camera at the top of the smartphone, but Apple stuck with its big notch screen, and by 2022, the iPhone 13 was the most sold phone.
But all of the companies have always had a tendency to copy Apple, and when Apple announces its punch hole as "Dynamic Island," there are lots of smartphones about to launch in the market with that idea. And on the day we learned about Dynamic Island, there were five to six apps in the Play Store that provided the Dynamic Island feature.
So this shows me two things: first, that there is a lot of interest in the Apple iPhone and that there is no company competing to make it like that; and second, that Android is so flexible that it can adopt anything in a very short time.
What do you think of this? Have you used any Dynamic Island apps on your Android phone? I used it once and then uninstalled it because it looked like a shitshow on my Android screen. Did you use any of the iPhone 14 Pro models? and whether dynamic islands are useful or just a marketing idea.
Apple's distinctive "Dynamic Island" notch will be included on the next-generation iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models. According to noted Apple analyst and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the next iPhones, which are expected to be released in September or October, will include a Type-C connection for charging in order to comply with the EU's universal charging solution law.
To seem more luxurious, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will have a titanium frame rather than one made of stainless steel. Furthermore, titanium is lighter and more durable than steel. Because it is less prone to react with oxygen, it is used in many high-end timepieces.
So these are rumors, which is a type of gossip we do before the launch of any device, but in reality, they may be true or the exact opposite, such as the iPhone 15 will now launch with a keypad, which is also a type of rumor.
Launch after launch
1. The Realme GT Neo 5 will be launched soon.
Realme is a great rival for Xiaomi phones, and in my opinion, I always go for Xiaomi. Why? I've used many Xiaomi devices as my primary device, including its laptops, which I currently use for doing blogging and playing games like GTA V. This laptop top model is the i7 Horizon Edition and the first laptop launched by Xiaomi in India, and it was, in my opinion, a good package for me at the time.
So, but I've always liked the looks and design of Realme phones and laptops, which is why I said Realme and Xiaomi are giving each other a run for their money. When I was looking for a new smartphone, I remembered that the Relame GT phone was on my list.
The new Realme phone has emerged on the Chinese certification portal TENAA ahead of its debut. The listing exposes the Realme GT Neo 5's specifications. The certification page lists two phone models with model numbers RMX3706 and RMX3708.
According to the description, both of these devices will have 4,850 mAh and 4,450 mAh batteries, respectively. The smartphone series is believed to include 240-watt rapid charging.
The smartphone is said to have a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels. According to the description, the phone would be powered by an undisclosed octa-core CPU with a maximum frequency of 3 GHz. Rumor has it that the Realme GT Neo 5 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
And if you want to know any more rumours or gossip, please leave them in the comments section; I will update tomorrow.
2. The release of Lenevo Yoga 6 (2023).
Lenovo's Yoga Series has always been known for its lightweight design that is most appealing in the market, and if you have read my blog before, you should know that I am always a fan of Lenovo's looks and design, particularly for laptops.
And they planned to release the Yoga 6 this year, in 2023, and if you're curious about the specs, I'll try to mention them briefly so you don't lose interest.
First, all variants of the operating system will be based on Windows 11, and they will be of two types, both of which will come with the latest AMD processors, Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7, both of which are 7th generation, and both of which will have the AMD Radeon graphics, which have 8 cores.
Storage will vary depending on the variant, ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB of PCLe 4.0 SSD, and the company claims to have a battery backup of 17 hours with a 45-watt charger.
In my view, I haven't used any such notebooks or laptops that provide such power, so if they provide battery backup of more than 5 hours, then it will be very sufficient for the users.
It has been launched in two models, one of aluminium and another of fabric, and its starting price is $729, which is approximately INR 60k in India.
So, have you used Lenevo Yoga Series yet? and if it is launched at this price in India also, then it will be a great deal.
So that's it for today, and I would like to state again that please follow and share it with your friends and relatives, and don't forget to comment if you want any help or want to help me improve it. I will be glad to see the feedback.
and I will again come back here with you to share tomorrow's tech update with you. Until then, keep smiling and be healthy.
