This news is not only for technical guys; it will be a question for many prelims questions of general knowledge in many competitive exams about who is honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 2022. Please read the entire blog for such news and don't forget to comment.

Pichai, an Indian-American, was awarded the Padma Bhushan in the Trade and Industry category for 2022. Pichai, who was born in Madurai, was selected as one of the 17 honorees earlier this year. On Friday, he received India's third-highest civilian honour in San Francisco, in the company of close family members.

"India is a part of me, and I carry it with me wherever I go," Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, said after receiving the coveted Padma Bhushan award from India's envoy to the United States.

Please share the interesting facts that you know about Sundar Pichai and let us know why he is such a great man and what you admire about him.

2. Twitter against hate speech

It will be very amazing if there is no news about Elon Musk with Twitter 2.0, but now they announce something that I think is good news for all of the users of Twitter.

Elon Musk's Twitter is relying primarily on automation to monitor material, eliminating some manual checks and preferring distribution limits over outright censorship, according to the company's new director of trust and safety, who spoke to Reuters.

Twitter is also banning abuse-prone hashtags and search results in areas such as child exploitation, regardless of the possible impact on "benign usage" of those terms, according to Ella Irwin, Twitter Vice President of Trust and Safety Product.

3. India with UPI payment

I think everyone has used UPI till now, whether it is a matter of a village, town, or multipolitan city, but do you know the full form of BHIM or UPI? simply being amusing.

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) extended the deadline for third-party UPI participants to reach their 30% volume threshold in digital payment transactions by two years, to the end of December 2024, on Friday.

Third-party app providers (TPAP) such as Google Pay and Walmart's PhonePe, who have a majority share of UPI-based transactions, may benefit from the ruling. The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is managed by NPCI and is used for real-time payments between peers or at the merchant's end when making purchases.

In November 2020, NPCI stated that a single third-party app will be limited to handling just 30% of total UPI transaction volumes. The cap was supposed to go into effect on January 1, 2021. But now they will extend.

Whereas in SBI, banks are warning against using third-party apps like Gpay or PhonePay, and this is a personal situation with me where my transaction is getting stuck and the bank manager at SBI is not resolving the issue, saying that he didn't tell you to use the third-party app and that if you use that app, you are solely responsible for this. What are your thoughts on this, and if you ever find yourself in this situation, please share your experience?

4. The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill in India

This will be a lengthy post because this is a bill that will be introduced in the India budget in the 2023 session. The measure is now in draught form and has been made available for public comment, and I'd like to explain each of its basic principles.

The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill is legislation that defines the rights and duties of the citizen (Digital Nagrik) on the one hand and the data fiduciary's duty to use gathered data legitimately on the other. The law is based on the following ideas about the data economy:

 1. The first principle is that organisations must acquire and use personal data in a way that is legal, protects the data of the persons involved, and is transparent to individuals.

2. The second principle of purpose and storage restriction is that personal data is only used for the reasons for which it was obtained and is only maintained for the time required for that purpose.

3. The third data minimisation principle is that data collection will be confined to just those persons who are necessary for the purpose mentioned.

4. The fourth principle is Data Protection and Accountability, which states that the person who collects the data is responsible for processing the data and that the data acquired will be kept secure, with no unauthorised use of the data or personal data breach.

5. The fifth premise is that any personal data obtained must be accurately stored.A reasonable effort is being made to guarantee that the individual's personal data is correct and up-to-date. that the individual will have the ability to view his or her data and, if necessary, delete or alter it.

6. The sixth pillar is required breach reporting and fair, open, and impartial adjudication of fiduciary responsibilities by a data protection board.

These principles have served as the foundation for personal data protection legislation in a number of nations. So that is why I discussed it in such detail, and if you want to know more about it, please let me know and I will try to explain it in a more simple manner.

5. YouTube is removing videos.

YouTube is frequently in the news for removing videos in accordance with its rules and regulations, and it is always trolling by someone who does not agree with their rules, such as some of the famous youtubers Carryminati, and please do comment on what you think of YouTube's action.

YouTube banned 5.6 million (56 lakh) videos from its site between July and September 2022 for violating its community rules. During the two months, the platform received around 2,71,000 removal requests. According to YouTube's recent blog, it restored around 29,000 appeals after a review.

According to a blog written by Matt Halprin, Vice President, Global Head of Trust and Safety, and Jennifer Flannery O'Connor, Vice President, Product Management, YouTube, for every 10,000 views from July to September of this year, between 10 and 11 were of content that violated the community guidelines.

YouTube also keeps track of the number of appeals submitted by creators in response to videos being removed, which helps it gain a better understanding of the accuracy of its systems. Language and expression are addressed in the community guidelines.

So let's start with iQoo, which provides fantastic specifications for a very low price but is also unable to keep up with the market. Comment on why iQoo is unable to compete in the Indian market.

The debut of the iQoo 11 5G has been delayed until December 8 after the Chinese smartphone manufacturer postponed its earlier intentions to showcase the device on December 2. iQoo Indonesia verified the news on its Instagram account. Some critical specs of the new iQoo flagship smartphone have already been leaked, as evidenced by listings.

The launch event, which is also expected to include the iQoo Neo 7 SE smartphone, will begin at 4 p.m. local time (2:30 p.m. IST). However, iQoo has not confirmed the launch event, which will include the iQoo 7 SE as well as the iQoo 11 5G smartphone. So is it exciting or not? Please leave a comment.

The Lenovo K14 and Lenovo K14 Note are said to be the two next smartphones in the company's low-cost K series. Both of the rumoured Lenovo K-series cellphones have just been seen on the Google Play store. The listing has exposed some of the devices' important features as well as a few front-facing photos.

Lenovo has yet to make an official statement about the release of these phones. It is also rumoured that, like earlier K-series smartphones, the Lenovo K14 and Lenovo K14 Note would be rebadged Motorola devices.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, which is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, was released in Xiaomi's native nation last week in October. The handset's 4G model has apparently emerged on the IMEI database, signalling its impending availability across worldwide markets.

On Thursday, Infinix Zero's 5G 2023 was released. The gadget was originally introduced last month as the successor to the Infinix Zero 5G released earlier this year by the Transsion Holdings-owned smartphone manufacturing business. Infinix's newest smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G SoC. It has an IPS LCD screen with a hole-punch cutout and will be available in black, orange, and white. The smartphone has a triple-rear camera setup and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

5. Tesla semi-truck delivered

We've already seen a Tesla cybertruck at their launch event, but there is no information on the availability of that, and now they are delivering a semi truck to PepsiCo. Yet there is no news or information about its availability or price.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk handed the company's first heavy-duty semi truck to PepsiCo on Thursday without providing an updated price or manufacturing plans for the cargo-hauling truck. Musk, speaking onstage at a Tesla event in Nevada, claimed the battery-powered, long-haul truck will decrease highway pollution, surpass existing diesel models in terms of power and safety, and spin off a fast-charging technology Tesla would employ in its planned Cybertruck pickup.

"If you're a trucker and you want the most badass rig on the road, this is it," Musk remarked, emphasising that the all-electric truck had been in development for five years. Nonetheless, industry analysts are unconvinced that battery electric vehicles can withstand the pressure of transporting heavy cargo for hundreds of miles on a single charge.

So, with that, I'd like to conclude this blog; we'll meet again tomorrow with some fantastic news; until then, be happy and smile. and do not forget to comment, share, and follow for more interesting news.
